Through the Cleaner Production project and the private sector, a total of 997 people were trained: 111 professors, 430 university students, 440 personnel from MSMEs and 16 people from the National Cleaner Production Centers in cleaner production and their role in the integrated watershed management. From these totals, the following persons are from the MAR region: 65 professors, 250 university students and 267 MSMEs personnel. A total of 58 MSMEs participated: 14 in Guatemala and 14 in Honduras. Awareness raising was also conducted, reaching a total of 1,054 persons. Of these, 549 were from Guatemala and Honduras.
