In the communication campaign “Circular Caribbean Cities”, led by the Circular Caribbean Project and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF Mesoamerica), we have included a series of three webinars in order to have a space to present and discuss specific cases that can serve as examples of actions to prevent plastic pollution in the Caribbean sea and that can be applied to the contexts of other cities in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Honduras, as well as in other countries. A webinar will be held in each one of the three stages of this campaign.
Webinar 1
How do we face the problem of plastic pollution?
This first webinar responds to the theme of the first stage of the Circular Caribbean Cities campaign. Join us to discover the importance of taking root actions to address the problem of solid waste, especially plastics, emphasizing that different actions are needed for a comprehensive solution, instead of isolated actions.
